When Grundfos faced the need for a new series of pumps, DIS got involved with the development team, which had to develop a control box for the new pumps. Because of new energy requirements from the European Union, Grundfos quickly had to make a new innovative product, and decided to engage with consultants from DIS to take part in the process.

In the development of the new control box, DIS used different development tools, including 3D modeling, 2D drawings as well as various tests and fatigue analyses. Finally, Grundfos applied for patents on some of the solutions that were developed by DIS’ engineers.
