SERENERGY

SERENERGY PARTNERS WITH ENGINEERING EXPERTS FOR SEAMLESS COMMERCIAL TRANSFORMATION AND GLOBAL SUPPORT

SerEnergy is a leading provider of methanol-based fuel cell development and production that operates using sustainable energy sources such as solar and wind energy. The company produces methanol-based solutions that provide green energy for stationary plants, vehicles, ships, and heating of homes. Methanol, used for storing energy, is a water-soluble and easily biodegradable chemical that can be produced from renewable energy sources. SerEnergy is currently working towards achieving zero CO2 emissions and DIS/CREADIS has been part of the mission.

Challenges

SerEnergy is undergoing a transformation from a research-based to a commercialized business. Companies undergoing this type of transformation face challenges in processes that require product maturation, improvement of production methods and processes, and strategies for market penetration with a strong focus on scalable customer segments. The challenges for SerEnergy include the potential for rapid expansion that requires a very adaptable organization. The company must be ready for scalability and, at the same time, ensure the availability of specialist skills when needs arise.

Solution

SerEnergy has found a solution to the challenges they face in the cooperation with DIS/CREADIS. DIS/CREADIS has helped SerEnergy in continuously developing their processes and in development-oriented projects in shorter periods, which call for competencies that they do not have in-house and will not need for the long term.

DIS/CREADIS coordinated and delivered the technical file for the CE declaration on SerEnergy's latest range of products. This has been done with a Global Team set-up where SerEnergy drew on DIS/CREADIS resources in both Poland and Denmark through a single point of contact.

Why DIS/CREADIS

Our internal set-up of resources and competences must meet reality with flexibility. We must be ready for scalability and, at the same time, ensure availability of specialist skills when needs arise. Internally in relation to continuously developing our processes, but also in relation to development-oriented projects over shorter periods, which call for competences that we do not have in-house and will not have the need for long term. In this situation, we are happy we are able to obtain professional assistance from DIS/CREADIS who, in a global network of skilled engineers, has the full range of specialist skills”.
