Internship at DIS

As an intern you will get the opportunity to experience what it is like to work as an Automation Engineer at DIS. You can expect an exciting and varied workday with professional challenges matching your skills. You can expect to become a part of the team from day one and work with multiple projects for different customers, where some projects will take place in multi-disciplinary project teams, while others will be executed as an individual – but always with support from skilled development engineers.


Typical tasks will be in the area of el and automation:


  • Software design and programming of primarily Siemens / Allen Bradley / Beckhoff PLC
  • Design and programming of HMI / SCADA
  • Safety programming
  • Programming of Kuka / UR robots
  • Machine vision solutions
  • Design of machines
  • Electrical design and documentation
  • Cabinet assembly
  • IO test, function test and commissioning of machines


We solve many different tasks at DIS, so there will also be an opportunity to deepen your knowledge within other areas such as. Machine safety and CE marking, Power Engineering, Embedded Software etc.


Your profile

You are currently studying to become an automation Engineer and you are ambitious, outgoing and you have a good and solid professional understanding. You wish to constantly improve your skills and we expect that you can work independently, take on responsibility and plan your workday. You feel comfortable in a dynamic and innovative environment, you possess the desire to create results, and you do not give up when things are challenging.
